Band's Bios

Matt Jennings- That's me. I play drums and have been for about two years now. So, in other words im the funky dude in charge of the grooves. More on me to come, like my set (for those who care) a bio, and other stuff.

INFLUENCES:

Red Hot Chili Peppers- My fav. band. Chad Smith's drumming is awesome! I think that he's the best drummer today. Flea is maybe one the best bassists ever. Anthony writes as good as he sings. John well hes just a crazy guitarist. RIP HILLEL SLOVAK

Parliment/Funkadelic/George Clinton- Ahh GC. I discovered him by listining to RHCP. He produced The album Freaky Styley and it made me want to check him out...which led to lots more funk, which has led me to a whole list of nicknames that I'm now known by.

Nirvana- One of the greatest bands of the 90's and of all time. Without them, music today would be a whole lot diffrent, and probably worse too. Dave made me want to pick up a pair of sticks and play drums.

Other Influences- The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, AC/DC, Stone Temple Pilots, and Foo Fighters. There will be more time to pay them the proper respect later.

Lou Zederbaum- Lou is the man. He's basically in charge, he plays guitar, he sings, he writes the stuff for us, like i said....HE'S THE MAN! He really started it.

INFLUENCES:

Elliott Smith- Elliott is god! He is one of the most underated musicians ever. His songs are full of heartbreak, misunderstanding and depression. His voice contains the sweet sounds of a simple person full of pain.

The Beatles- The best band ever. Their music has changed me forever. Since 7th grade i have been hooked on them. I collect anything by them mainly imports and vinyl records. My favorite Beatle album without a doubt it Rubber Soul.

Nirvana- The first band i ever got into. I was looked as the weird kid in 1st grade cause i listened to them while the other kids were listen to like sesame street songs. They had a big impact on me.

Oasis- Liam and Noel are the greatest. I mean brothers that almost kill each other .. rowdy at every show they do..Liam goin nutz cause he cant have one of those scone things they give on the plane..and threating to slap the flight attendant ..just classic. The music all in itself tells so many good storys. i have to say that they are close to being as good as the beatles. whats the story morning glory is the best album of the 90's.

Weezer- The moment i saw the video for the sweater song (Aug 1994) i loved them..i got thier 1st album at christmas of 94 and i have pretty much wore it out.. and not like all of these "new" weezer fans i got pinkerton in 1996 when it came out.

Tom Petty- He is so simple .. but his songs say so much.. his concert was the best i have ever been to.

Other Influences- The Clash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Offspring, Ash, Ben Folds Five, Green Day, U2

Kim Albrecht- Kim is one of the new editions to this band. So far so good, she can sing and she can jump around and go crazy so she'll be cool.

INFLUENCES:

Weezer- I love =W=!!!! Their sound is so amazing and so unique. I saw them in May of 1997 becuase they opened for No Doubt. I hadn't ever heard of them before that, but now I love them! I really really really want to see them again!

No Doubt- No Doubt is one of the spiffiest bands around. Don't make fun of me for liking them until you've listened to their self titled CD and The Beacon Street Collection.

Sublime- Rest In Peace, Bradley Nowell. This band has the perfect combination of punk rock, reggae, and ska. They also did a cover of the theme song of my favorite super hero, Hong Kong Phooey. You have to listen to them, they are beyond awesome. "Life is too short so love the ones you've got..."

Bif Naked- She rocks becuase she is straight edge. sXe rules! That means she's like anti-drug and stuff. DRUGS ARE VERY EVIL.

Other Influences- Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Everclear, Reel Big Fish, Korn, Ozzy, Offspring. These are just my absolute favorites. I love all rock music. I also love The Phantom of the Opera and most other musicals. Don't make fun of me =P

Frankie Seeman- Frankie has to make a bio lol were still waiting for it. He's a solid bassist. We know he digs on some Jimmy Buffet n stuff...yeah. These influences r weird and most don't have anything to do with music. OH WELL THAT'S FRANKIE FOR YA!

Influences:

Jimmy Buffet: Buffet is god, no one compares to Buffet. He is his own style of music, and to all you people who say different, I dont know what.

Jim Carrey: For many years this is who I admired, his talent to make everone laugh histerically. Many problems in life an he still goes on making others happy.

Frank Seeman III: As amazing as it seems I am a clone of this man. We have the same interests, the same likings in music, TV shows, everything. The only difference is is that I dont have three kids or a wife, and never been in a war.

Simpsons: Without this TV show, I would not have the humor I have now.
